Task : Fill in the past participles for the verbs below. Then, create a Powerpoint presentation, a comic strip or
movie that illustrates each of the 17 Dr. & Mrs. P. VANDERTRAMP verbs and tells a story:

Specifications : In groups, no greater than 3 people (each group including at least 1 male), you must:
1. Write one sentence, in French using the passé composé for all 17 Dr. & Mrs. P. VANDERTRAMP verbs
and put them into a movie/photo story format. Each sentence must be written in complete, French
sentences. Your project should tell a creative story and should include ALL of the verbs on the list above,
but is not limited to them!
a. Vary your subjects for each verb, using each subject pronoun, at least once.
i. (Je, Tu, Il, Elle, On, Nous, Vous, Ils, Elles).
ii. Most of your subject pronouns will end up being used twice.
2. Take one picture/shoot a frame that represents each subject pronoun/verb combination.
a. Note: If the subject is “elles”, then I expect to see only girls in the picture and at least 2 of them.
Thus, your picture/frame MUST be an accurate representation of your sentence.
b. You may be asked to stand in and pose for another group (i.e., in the unavoidable event of an allgirl group, you will occasionally need a boy to form the “ils” subject.)
3. Create a Powerpoint or movie to present your story to the class.
4. Story/subtitles must be found on each slide/frame shot.
5. Be creative and have fun!
Timeline: You will have 2 class-days to write and complete your project. Each team member will participate in
the presentation on the 3rd class day.
Grading:
 Title = 4 pts.
 17 photos/frames (using each VANDERTAMP verb at least once) = 17 pts.
 17 sentences using all the Dr. & Mrs. P. VANDERTRAMP verbs accurately and with a variety of
subjects/subject pronouns = 34 pts.
 Creativity = 20 pts.
 Group Grade*/Participation = up to 10 pts.
 On time/On task = 25 points
Total = 110 pts.
*Note: Since group participation is vital to this project, your group members will grade you on a scale of 1-10
based on your participation and cooperation. Choose your group members wisely!
