COMMENTS/CONDITIONS
Proposal to offer an additional mode of delivery to an already approved
course, by distance learning
The Cert HE, Dip HE, BA (Hons) Sales was approved originally on 29
April 2010 as a Category A outcentre with Harrods for face-to-face
delivery only, full-time and block delivery on a trimesterly basis
Student numbers from Harrods are falling and the exclusivity agreement
with Harrods has lapsed therefore the Faculty now wish to seek to offer
this course by distance learning to other student groups
Distance learning materials will be commissioned by Learning
Development Services (LDS)
Students will be managed by LDS and Degrees at Work with curriculum
being managed by the Department of Marketing, Enterprise and Tourism
Students currently registered at Harrods will remain under their existing
study pattern
With effect from June 2015
Proposal to change the explicit part-time module diet to delivery by infil
Proposal it so withdraw the part-time mode explicitly for part-time
students in Cambridge and include those students within the full-time
mode of delivery teaching at a part-time pace of learning
The part-time course code at Cambridge would be assigned with a new
module diet as attached
The new module diet may require part-time students to attend teaching
sessions for more than one day each semester; currently teaching is
delivered on one day per teaching week
Current students will continue on their existing module diet
With effect from September 2015
