Underage drinking party

The Gilford Police Department (GPD) responded to 128 Glidden Road for a report of a
loud party. The Alton Police Department assisted the Gilford Police Department along
with additional members of (GPD) that were called in off duty. During their
investigation eighteen arrests were made for Unlawful Possession of Alcohol a violation
level offense. Fourteen of the arrests were minors and the remaining four were
juveniles. The homeowner a Brenda Stowe DOB: 12/04/62, was also arrested and
charged with Facilitating an Underage Drinking Party a misdemeanor. Stowe was
released on her own recognizance. The arrestees were either released to a parent or
taken to Belknap County Jail depending on the individual circumstances. Arraignments
were set for July 16, 2015 at the 4th Circuit Court Laconia Division at 08:30 a.m. The
Gilford Police Department would like to remind parents to please talk with their
children about underage drinking, especially around Graduation time and be cognizant
of the fact that providing alcohol to a minor is against the law in New Hampshire.
