Belgium away Feedback
The ticket allocation was lower than the take up but we all agreed that the FAW loyalty
scheme ensured that tickets were distributed as fairly as possible. They also acknowledged
that the application forms should have been sent out earlier.
There were no major issues with the fans other than an incident inside the stadium where
Smoke bombs were let off prior to kick off and mid-way through the second half. These
incidents were reported and once again the FAW is up in front of UEFA. A 5,000 Euro fine
was imposed on the FAW for the Andorra match and a hefty fine is expected again for this
recent incident. The real problem is the escalation of incidents at FAW matches starting with
the pitch invaders at the Super cup and in Andorra and now these smoke bombs in Brussels.
Fans should be aware that stiffer penalties can be imposed including matches played behind
closed doors; we need everyone to be aware of this.
Again we found the stadium very poor and fans had no chance of finding their correct seats
causing some gangways to fill up, but the fans created a fantastic atmosphere in the Welsh
end and apart from the incidents above the fans were well behaved and praised by the
Belgium police.
Israel Site visit
We were met by very friendly people and getting through the airport was quite straight
forward. You should expect to travel to a coastal location with a warm temperature.
We would recommend fans to stay in Tel Aviv and travel to Haifa on the day of the game.
Coaches are being organised by Leigh James, but there is no public transport until the
evening.
The modern stadium is excellent with up to date facilities and we can have 1500 tickets to
start with and more if required. Fans are reminded that this country is currently in a cease
fire agreement with Gaza and caution should be maintained and it is advisable to keep up to
date with the Foreign and commonwealth website page on Israel.

Lucy Mason said that in early January fans will be able to apply for Israel Tickets online,
further details will follow including prices, but all those that book online will be sent an e
mail to acknowledge booking with a form to complete that will ask for your travel details,
passport number etc., once that is returned your ticket will be confirmed.
Bosnia match
This match is due to be played in Zenica, the capacity of the stadium is 15,000 and we are
allowed 5% of the tickets, approx. 750. Of course Bosnia may not sell their own allocation
and may offer us more but at the moment we must assume that 750 is all we will be
allocated. The advice is to hold back booking the trip until you are aware of the ticket
criteria the FAW uses to distribute tickets and the confirmation of exactly how many we will
be allocated.
Three match season tickets
On sale from December 10th 2014
The Half Tournament Ticket is like a season ticket which covers the three remaining home
qualifying matches in the Euro 2016 campaign, as below:
v Belgium - Friday 12th June 2015 (kick off 7.45pm)
v Israel - Sunday 6th September 2015 (kick off 5pm)
v Andorra - Tuesday 13th October 2015 (kick off 7.45pm)
The ticket prices are as follows:
- £50.00
Citizen (age 65 and over) - £12.00
(age 16 and under) - £12.00
ing fees of £1.00 per half tournament ticket plus a 50p transaction charge apply
These prices represent a discount of 15% for adults and 20% for senior citizens and juniors when
compared to buying tickets on a match by match basis. The single match prices are £20.00 for
adults and £5.00 for senior citizens and juniors (booking fees apply).
Half Tournament Tickets are only available online through this website and by telephoning the
Cardiff City Stadium Ticket Office on 0845 345 1400.

Truce games in Ypres December 20
Members of the Welsh fans’ football team will travel to Ypres in Belgium to take part in the
Truce games to remember the First World War when the Allies and Germans had a football
match in no man's land during a Christmas truce.
There will be 8 teams taking part and they come from Wales, Scotland, England, Germany
Belgium and France....It will be a fans tournament 5 a side.
The FAW has supplied the kit for the fans plus 10 pennants to exchange with opposing
teams during the tournament which will take place on Friday December 19th. Media releases
will be sent by the organisers.
Meetings/fan forums in North Wales and London
The FSF/FAW meetings always take place in Cardiff so it was suggested that they could be
held in North Wales and possibly London in the New Year. A sort of fans forum event where
views from the fans from different areas can be heard in person, further details will follow
but these events will definitely take place.
FSF Cymru
We run a successful fan embassy in Brussels and are planning for Israel. The FAW has
donated 2,000 “Wear red for Wales” pin badges and we will distribute these freely to the
fans during the next few months,
Gol/ Supporters football team
Gol will be visiting an orphanage in Israel and would like to thank the fans who supported
the charity by buying raffle tickets at the Andorra game. The dragon has landed fan zine was
on sale in Brussels and there will be a new edition next year. The FAW also donated a full kit
to the supporters’ football team which was greatly appreciated
Any other business possible friendly matches news
There are no firm plans for a friendly three days after the Israel match at the moment. A
game in June before the Belgium game seems more likely but again nothing has yet been
organised.
Trains to North Wales following evening international matches are non-existent and that
makes it very difficult for many fans to attend games. It was suggested that fans write to
their AM’S to complain about this and ask them to intervene, there is always enough trains
for the Rugby so no reason why the football fans should be treated differently.

The North Wales meetings will be arranged in January and February, we'll share
the probable dates and venues with you as soon as possible. we are also
considering a meeting in London.
