Cleaning supplies and equipment are located in closet under the stairs and mop storage locker is outside
the back door – key located in cleaning closet.
a. Vacuum cleaners
b. Bathroom cleaning kits (including brushes, comet, bleach cleanser, sponges, etc.)
c. Toilet paper, paper towels for dispensers in bathrooms
d. Key to outside mop storage area and to paper dispensers located behind light switch
e. Floor cleaners (simple green and general purpose cleaners)
f. Mops and mop buckets (in outside storage area – key in closet)
g. Plastic bags for garbage cans
Downstairs main meeting area
a. Vacuum entire hall, moving chairs as needed
b. Remove any personal items left by the saints (i.e. hymnals, HWMR books, water bottles, etc. - place in
lost and found area in multi-purpose room or at back table)
c. Straighten chairs and arrange as needed. Make sure there is adequate space between rows and
sections for people to exit in an emergency.
d. BEFORE CLUSTER MEETING: Add 2 extra rows on east and west sides
e. AFTER CLUSTER MEETING: Remove 2 rows on east and west sides.
Downstairs’ bathrooms
a. Clean toilets with toilet brush. Use comet cleanser or bleach.
b. Clean urinals with comet cleanser or bleach mixture
c. Clean mirrors with Windex
d. Clean off sink area with Simple Green or bleach mixture
e. Sweep and mop floors with diluted floor cleaner
f. Check toilet paper and paper towels. Replace as needed (key under sink or in storage closet)
g. Empty garbage cans
Downstairs multi-purpose room and hallways
a. Sweep and mop tile floor (mops and buckets are located in external storage unit)
b. Empty garbage cans
c. Stack chairs
Downstairs Kitchen
a. Clean and put away any dirty dishes, pots or pans etc.
b. Remove any dirty towels and have them washed (at home). Return them on the Lord’s Day
c. Empty garbage cans
d. Sweep and mop floors with diluted floor cleaner
Downstairs children’s rooms (as needed)
a. Put away toys
b. Stack chairs, arrange tables
c. Vacuum floors (as needed)
d. Clean/sanitize counter-tops as needed
e. Empty garbage cans

Check ALL rooms for garbage
a. Sometimes during the love-feasts, the saints (or their children) leave food in the garbage cans in various
rooms. Please check EVERY room and empty each can, regardless if it is full or not.
Outside (parking lot, lawns, planters)
a. Sweep or blow leaves and debris and collect in garbage cans or bags (including sidewalks in front of
hall).
b. Rake up leaves in various flower beds and planters
c. Trim roses, hedges
d. Pull weeds, remove unwanted plants
Upstairs meeting area
a. Vacuum entire hall, moving chairs as needed
b. Remove any personal items left by the saints (place in lost and found area in multi-purpose room)
c. Straighten chairs and arrange as needed. Make sure there is adequate room for people to exit in an
emergency (isle space).
d. Empty garbage cans
Upstairs bathrooms
a. Clean toilets with toilet brush. Use comet cleanser or bleach.
b. Clean mirrors with Windex

Other areas of service related to meeting hall maintenance/cleaning
a. Organize kitchen utensils, pots, pans, food, etc.
b. Clean refrigerators thoroughly (monthly)
c. Wash windows – inside and out
d. Organize storage areas, cleaning closet
e. Organize and clean up various other rooms/closets in the hall
f. Purchase cleaning supplies (see Sam Kong)
g. Paint rooms (coordinate with leading brothers)
h. Notify responsible brothers of any broken or missing cleaning equipment or supplies.
