On behalf of the Congregation of Holy Cross, Province of Northeast India, as
authorized by the Provincial Superior, I am writing to formally thank you for the generous
donations and support for the most deserving poor people of northeast India. Our sincere
thanks goes to Compassionate Hearts Inc. for connecting us with you. We the missionaries in
Northeast India would like to assure of our prayers and love.
The gift that you have given will go directly to support our growing missionary and
apostolic works. The Congregation of Holy Cross has been serving the poor people of the
area since 1939. The works for the last many decades have enhanced much the work of the
local Bishop for the growth of the Church.
Our missionaries and apostolic work in Northeast India includes pastoral care of
the newly evangelized people in over a dozen parishes, imparting education to the most
deserving children in the remote areas through schools, services to the Orphanage children
and other social and human advancement programs;all aiming the weaker sections of the
society.
The Winter coats collections/donations that you give will go directly to support the
poor people of northeast India.
