Attention All-Academic Team Members: We will not have practice tomorrow instead we will be having our practice
today in room B107 along with some refreshments to celebrate our success at this past weekend tournament.(12/18)

Your Class Rings Are In Jostens will be here next week on Thursday, December 19th to deliver the Class Rings. He
will be set up in the cafeteria during lunch. If you have a balance on your ring it will be due at this time. If you are still
interested in ordering a Class Ring, please stop in Cafeteria on Thursday, December 19th to get the information to mail

Dr. Martin Luther King Oratorical Contest Any student interested in participating in the Dr. Martin Luther King
Oratorical Contest should see Mrs. Sorrells in Room A105 before leaving for WINTER Break.(12/19)

CARE Attention members of CARE! We will be having a cultural holiday party this Thursday, December 19th, right
after school in B105! Members, you will be receiving a flyer about this in your homeroom. But anyone is welcome to

SPORTS

Congratulations to Tim Arth who was named News Herald player of the week for his game against West Geauga on
Sunday. While missing his two starting defenders and battling illness, Tim had an outstanding 45 saves on 53 shots
against the division leading wolverines. If you see Tim in the hall, congratulate him.(12/18)

Bowling The boys & girls varsity bowling teams swept Garfield Heights last night. Leading the way for the ladies was
Izzie Johnson with her personal best game of 187. Kortney Miozzi also had a solid day as the teams anchor during the
Baker games. The boys needed a total team effort to pull out a close victory. Austin Brizee & Trent Miller were the top
scorers for the Arcs, while Dante Dixon also added a game over 200. The ladies travel to Wickliffe lanes today to take
on the Lady Blue Devils of Wickliffe, while the boys take the day off.(12/18)

Hockey Come out to support the Hockey Team. The team takes the ice this Friday, December 20th, against Aurora at
the Cleveland Heights ice rink at 8:45pm come cheer us on.(12/19)

Tennis Attention all boys interested in playing tennis this season. A very important meeting will be held today,
Wednesday, December 18th at 3:15 in room A203. It is extremely important for you to attend this ONE meeting.
Please see Mr. Naughton in room A203 if you absolutely cannot attend, but want to play.(12/18)

Student volunteer opportunity - Basketball game Concession Stand
Brush PTSA needs volunteers for the concession stand during girls and boys basketball games.
Volunteers are needed for Friday December 20, December 27 & 28 for the holiday tournament and many more.
