Herve Gindre
Vice President and General Manager, 3M Electronics Markets Materials Division
Herve Gindre joined 3M product marketing in Cergy, France in 1982. He has since held numerous
posts in marketing, business and key account management in Europe, the United States and Asia,
with leadership roles in the company’s telecom, electronic and interconnect products businesses. In
2008, Mr. Gindre was appointed Vice President and General Manager, 3M Electronic Solutions in
Singapore and then in 2009 became Vice President and General Manager, 3M Electronics Markets
Materials Division.
Joe Koch
Business Director, 3M Electronics Markets Materials Division
Joe Koch joined 3M Electronics in 2003, as a market development manager. He has held roles in
marketing and business management since then and is currently the business director, 3M
Electronic Markets Materials Division. Joe holds a degree in chemistry and biology from St. Johns
University and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
Phillip Tuma
Advanced Application Development Specialist, 3M Electronic Markets Materials Division
Phil joined 3M in 1995 and has worked for the past 18 years developing applications for fluorinated
heat transfer fluids in various industries. His current work is focused on developing processes that
facilitate the use of passive 2-phase immersion techniques for cooling power electronics and
computer equipment. Phil holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Thomas, a
mechanical engineering degree from the University of Minnesota and a masters in mechanical
engineering from Arizona State University
