Wings of Life – registered club of Griffith University
Wings of Life, founded in 2010 by Doug Field, with a mission to raise awareness and funds for RFDS, while
providing inspiration to youth in aviation has worked to produce events since 2010 at Archer Falls Airfield.
Wings of Life is now a registered Griffith University Club with mainly aviation students, and introduces a new
committee of fresh aviation students each year, this year membership is about 70 members. The past
committee passes on all information, and assists the new members in learning event management skills and
tasks, so the project is beneficial to these students in many and varied ways, for their future lives. It is also a
fresh learning curve each year, which allows all stakeholders to see new and fresh ideas come across the

When you visit Archer Falls Airfield:
We would like all our visitors to enjoy their stay. As such we would ask the following:
Please leave the facilities as you found them. Do not cause damage to any property, flora or fauna.
Respect the fact that other guests are using the facilities too, and neighbours nearby.
Please behave in an orderly, decent manner and keep any noise to a volume that will not cause a
nuisance.
Please remove all litter. Remember that these areas feed our drinking water supply. Do not discharge
any substance that may pollute these areas.
Keeping visitors safe:
The safety of our visitors is important to us. For your safety and the safety of others we would ask that
all visitors observe the following:
Please comply with any signage, or instructions, including traffic and parking, for aircraft, vehicles,
tents, caravans and motorhomes.
Keep an eye out for hazards including for example, uneven surfaces, objects on the ground or
submerged or floating objects in the water.
Due to the dryness of the season, and winds no fires will be permitted in camping areas this year,
please respect this rule.
Do not leave a water tap running.
Do not leave any foreign objects in toilets, these are operated on tank water with septic systems.
Do not undertake any activity that is likely to interfere with the safety of others.

Any aviation related activity undertaken is at the risk of those participating, with understanding
risk is involved which may result in accident causing injury or death, participants take part at their own
risk at all times.
Please be aware of your environment
Native animals including snakes & ticks are common
Take care and ensure children are accompanied at all times
