Teacher: Hello. Welcome to Language Leaper. My name is __name of
person__________. How are you? (Pause) Good! Here is our friend.
Kaz enters as teacher
introduces as friend.
Puppet 1: Hello. My name is Kaz. I am nine years old.
Teacher: How are you Kaz?
Puppet 1: I am fine. Thank you. How are you?
Teacher: I am fine. Thank you.
Puppet: What is this?
Teacher: This is an endangered animal. It is the Steller Sea Lion. Lets learn
more about this fish...where it lives, what it eats, and why it is endangered.

Teacher: Let’s hear a story.
I am a Steller Sea Lion. I live on land and in the sea. I eat salmon and squid. I am

When the students here the phrase I am, they will put a place marker on the sea
lion
When they hear the phrase I live, they will put a place markers on the land and
sea
When they hear the phrase I eat, they will put a place marker on the salmon and
squid
When the hear the phrase, I am endangered because, they will put a place
marker on the hunter and No food.
