Long-Term Initiatives Taken:
Attended ‘National Night Out’ to assist Palestine Police Department in education of young
persons about drugs, alcohol, etc.
Attended the ‘Palestine Business Expo’ to showcase to perspective employees the various
opportunities at the radio stations and websites.
Furthered the education of our programming and sales representatives in their education of
writing copy that is going to work for client. Took Program Director to TAB convention to learn
more about the radio industry, and what help is available for him from the TAB.
Held numerous meetings with staff to review our hiring process, and improve our outreach in the
community especially to the Hispanic community.
Built new website located at TLCmedia.org to assist perspective employees by making the hiring
process more attractive by making it faster and easier.
Added online training resources for employees in sales, production, management, etc.
