A quorum was established with 22 members present out of 34
Moved to approve by Colin Dart, seconded by Steve Quin
Dan gave an overview of our financial statement. Moved by
Terry Henry, seconded by Steve Quin to accept.
Dan discussed that YJO has never had a budget and provided
an overview of a proposed budget.
President’s Address by Colin
The conference committee did a magnificent job for a great
Dart
conference. Much has been accomplished this past year
including raising our profile, establishing a working
relationship with Training and Development. We still need to
work with CAMH on 4 Justice Collaboratives and we need to
be involved. They will be discussed next week. Please
provide the Board with items for the Workplan.
Proposed By law changes
The purpose of these proposed by law amendments was to
presented by Colin
update them, ensure our best practices. These were reviewed
at the zone meetings. By laws amendments clarified
membership approval, fees, meeting timelines, and Associate
members.
Election of Board Members from Thank you to Dick and Teresa for all your efforts. In Zone 1
the Zones
(North)Kris woods was elected to the Board (2015), joining
Lynn Kallies (2014) and Steve Quinn (2013)
In Zone 2 (East), Diane Irwin was elected to the Board
(2015), joining Gord (2013) and Lucia (2014)
In Zone 3 (West), Mike Ellison White was re-elected to the

In Zone 4 (Central), Jim was re-elected to the Board (2015),
joining Colin (2014) and Deb Riddle (2013).
Zone 1 – No submissions but would like the Board to explore
video link training do to distance. Steve and Lynn met with
Contact North Tuesday.
Zone 2 – Talked about training, interest in looking at new
ways to develop “younger members” of YJO as Leaders.
Zone 3 – Training, Partnerships in the private sector to raise
our profile. See the Minutes.
Zone 4 – Education and training on Bill C-10, focus of YJ
Advisory Counsel.

when negotiating with EchoSims.
