Amendment to the Convention on joint
international supervision (“cotutelle”)
of Doctoral Thesis
Preamble

the head of the research lab at XXX], hereinafter referred to as [lab XXX]
And

partner institution], hereinafter referred to as [short name of YYY],
On behalf of the laboratory [full name of research lab. at YYY], located at [address of
research lab. at YYY], managed by [title: Mrs, Ms, Mr, first name and family name of
the head of the research lab at YYY], hereinafter referred to as [lab YYY]
have signed a Convention on joint international supervision of doctoral thesis, related
to the PhD student [Ms, Mr, first name and family name of PhD student], supervised by
[title: Mrs, Ms, Mr, first name and family name of the Phd supervisor from XXX], who is
a member of [lab XXX], and by [title: Mrs, Ms, Mr, first name and family name of the
Phd supervisor from YYY], who is a member of [lab YYY].
This Convention stipulates that the doctorate degrees mention the joint international
supervision between [short name of XXX] and [short name of YYY].
Having regard to the decree of the 29th December 2014 creating the community of
universities and establishments Université Paris-Saclay, located at espace
technologique, immeuble Discovery, route de l’Orme aux Merisiers RD 128, 91190

Having regard to the decision of habilitation of the Université Paris Saclay's doctorate
degree,
Article I.
[Ms, Mr, first name and family name of PhD student]'s doctorate degrees will mention
the joint international supervision between [short name of YYY] and Université ParisSaclay, doctorate prepared in [short name of XXX].
Article 2
The convention is extended for one (1) academic year, from the 1st of October 2015 to
the 30th of September 2016.
Article 3.
The provisions of the Convention, not modified by this amendment and which are not
contrary to this amendment, remain in force.
