~Found Poems~
Found Poems are poems that are composed of phrases “found” in a text.
Assignment: You will create a found poem using phrases from the novel.
Poems Should:





Be at least 16 lines long
Have a title
Revolve around a theme, character or an experience in the book
Make use of the entire text
Be typed and displayed on a 3D visual that represents theme of poem (see examples on
chalkboard wall)
 Include examples of figurative language (symbol, metaphor, imagery, etc)
 Include the page number at the end of each line to show where that phrase was found.
