Corporate Profile
Canuc Resources Corporation (CDA: TSX-V, WKN:A0M6U5) is a junior resource company with a primary focus on the exploration
and development of its gold properties located in Nova Scotia and the historic Nambija Mining District of southeastern Ecuador.
In Nova Scotia, Canuc has entered into an option agreement covering the Mill Village Gold property near Liverpool. The property,
consisting of 31 claims (501.8 hectares), covers the Mill Village gold occurrences and includes the historic Gold Eagle and
Thompson mines. Historic gold producers, the Gold Eagle and the adjacent Thompson mines both host geology and mineralization
identical to the other “Meguma Series” gold deposits located in the province.
In southeastern Ecuador, the Canuc holds an 85% interest in the Nambija gold property located within the historic Nambija Gold
District. The grade of the ore historically mined at Nambija is impressive, the mineralization consisting primarily of native gold.
Although over 2 - 3 million ounces of gold have been recovered from Nambija by artisanal mining, it is Canuc’s view that
significant gold remains in situ. Ecuador also hosts the same favorable geology as found in northern Peru and, accordingly,
additional projects are being reviewed for potential acquisition or joint venture.
In June 2011, Canuc finalized its strategic acquisition of MidTex Oil and Gas Corporation, a private Ontario corporation. MidTex
assets include 2 producing gas wells and 320 acres of undeveloped acreage in East Texas. In Aug. 2011, Canuc acquired a 20%
working interest in an additional 600 acres (Thompson lease). Thompson well #1 has been completed and according to the results
from the production testing, management believes the Thompson lease has the potential to become a significant gas field.
Surveying, trenching and pipeline installation are underway and production from this well is anticipated to commence in January
2012. Additional wells are planned in 2012 on both leases in order to increase cash flow, allowing the Canuc to develop its
projects while avoiding unnecessary dilutive financing.
Project Highlights
Mill Village, Nova Scotia:






The gold occurrences are found in the Meguma Group Stratigraphy of Nova Scotia, which hosts 60 +/- past producing gold
mines with historical production of 1.2 million ounces.
The deposits are typically 100,000 to 200,000 ounces and are generally high grade vein deposits with free gold. (Avg. grade
reported 0.68 oz Au / ton).
The Mill Village Gold Eagle shaft was rehabilitated in 2001, and will be dewatered in order to facilitate underground
exploration and bulk sampling.
High Grade Gold in Narrow Quartz Veins with coarse native gold makes the project amenable to gravity concentration.
Recently elsewhere in the Meguma terrain, gold has been located as disseminations peripheral to the vein type occurrences
adding a new dimension to the project.
Previous drill holes tested the east extension of the Gold Eagle mine with positive results intersecting 38.1 g/t gold over
0.46m, and 126.2 g/t gold over 0.30m.

INVESTOR FACT SHEET – January 1, 2012

A new vein (Eaglet) was also discovered 12 meters below the Gold Eagle vein assaying 196.5 g/t gold over 0.46m, and 246.2
g/t gold over 0.76 m.
 A 2010 43-101 compliant report identified 7, high-grade, small tonnage targets on the property.
Exploration Program




Surface exploration includes geological mapping, prospecting, geophysics, geochemistry, till and pit sampling.
Baseline environmental studies.
De-water the Gold Eagle mine, conduct panel and bulk sampling followed by metallurgical testing.
Drill program to commence in Spring 2012.
Nambija, Ecuador:
 An estimated 2-3 million ounces of Gold have been extracted from a number of near surface workings.
 Canuc is the major owner/operator (85%) of the Nambija gold project. The remaining 15% is individual local ownership.
Mining History
 Region has a long history of gold mining dating back to the 16th century.
 Landslides in 1981 exposed gold bearing zones causing a gold rush and rediscovery of the region.
 First phase of drilling completed.
 Underground channel samples confirmed the presence of localized high-grade gold at depth.
Exploration Program, Ecuador


Primary focus is both underground and on surface along the eastern El Tierrero trend and the western El Arco structure at
Nambija.
Additional precious and base metal projects to be reviewed in 2012 as Ecuador opens up 28 sectors in the country for
acquisition.
