Sudhir Bangar (b. 1973)
Sudhir Bangar's works are joyous, celebrating togetherness and festivity. The bright colour palette the
artist uses is soul stirring and brings a sense of contentment. Inspired by the traditional and cultural
folklore of the city the artist comes from, his works are a depict the true spirit of dance, and its various
forms.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
I am Sudhir S. Bangar born 1973 in ‘Bangarwadi’, District – Osmanabad of Maharashtra State of India. I
settled in Poona, My mother is houewife and father is Retired teacher from school. I have completed
my A.T.D. from Chitrakala Mahavidyalay Latur Government diploma in Arts (Drawing and Painting) from
Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalay, Pune in year 1996. And Diploma in Art education from J.J. School of Arts
from Mumbai in 1997. After that I completed Drama Diploma in 1998 from Pune University. I have
served Satara Kala Mahavidyaly, Satara as “Principal” for three years. In the mean time I have done Art
direction for Marathi – Hindi cinemas, serials, now for the last twelve years I am doing painting and
conducting solo & group exhibitions. My every goal of life is now to send my paintings up to every
corners of world.
