Priority needs: food assistance, shelter, water and sanitation, nutrition and emergency medical
services, cash assistance, rehabilitation of critical infrastructure, basic services, and non-food items,
including mattresses and bedding, kitchen and hygiene sets, clothes, baby supplies, etc
Objectives of the SHARP:
 Provide relief supplies and appropriate emergency services to those most directly affected by the
current events;
 Assist people who left their homes and host communities;
 Support the Government in the rehabilitation and reconstruction of critical infrastructure and
vital public services events through rapid repairs;
 Address humanitarian needs of the poor who are most affected by the current situation in order
to avoid their further destitution.
61 projects in 10 sectors, with assistance in all 14 governorates of Syria: Food; NFIs/shelter;
health and medical care (including nutrition); WASH; education; livelihoods and economic stabilisation;
community services; rehabilitation and reconstruction of critical infrastructure and utility services;
coordination; logistics and emergency telecommunications; staff safety.
Activities include: food rations for 1.5 million for six months; ready-to-eat-supplementary food
(RUSF) for 50,000 children under the age of three; agricultural assistance for 400,000; food and cash for
360,000 Palestinian refugees; non-food items for 1.5 million; shelter assistance for 250,000 Syrians;
NFIs, cash and shelter assistance for 100,000 Palestinian refugees; reproductive health services for one
million women; health initiatives for up to four million Syrians + 525,525 Palestinian refugees;
