 Fred = Scrooge’s nephew, very nice and optimistic (positive, upbeat)
 Jacob Marley = was Scrooge’s greedy business partner (a ghost with chains)
 Fezziwig = who Scrooge (an apprentice then) learned a trade under; his teacher
 Tiny Tim = Bob’s son, who is very sick and handicapped
