Sabeta presented “Results of the rabies proficiency test co-ordinated by the OIE rabies reference
Laboratory for the SADC member countries” at the South East African Rabies Group (SEARG) in Dar
Es Salaam, Tanzania from 11-16th February 2013.
Dr Sabeta presented a talk entitled “The epidemiology and pathogenicity of classical rabies virus
(RABV) in South Africa” at the 3rd World Congress of Virology that was held at the Double Tree by
Hilton Hotel in Baltimore (USA) from 20-22 November 2013
Mr Ngoepe presented a talk entitled “a review of the export test for rabies: the last 5 years” during a
rabies serology meeting organised by ANSES (France) on the 1st and 2nd October 2013 in Nancy
(France). South East African Rabies Group (SEARG) in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania from 11-16th
February 2013.
