ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING
THE CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF ALLENTOWN
CHAPTER XIX ENTITLED “WATER”, SECTION 19-1
THEREOF ENTITLED, “FEES AND CHARGES”
Monmouth, State of New Jersey as follows:
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Common Council of the Borough of Allentown, County of
Section 1. Chapter XIX, Subsection 19-1 entitled, “Fees and Charges” is hereby amended as follows:
19-1.1 Water Charges; Maintenance of Meters a.
All water delivered in the Borough of Allentown shall be measured by Borough Water Department meters which shall, after installation, remain the property of the Borough. The following schedule of charges shall be effective for periods billed on and after January 1, 2015.

A minimum will be billed at Sixty Dollars ($60.00) per quarter.
2.
Additionally, all water used in the Borough of Allentown shall be billed on cubic feet used at the rate of $.08 per cubic feet per quarter.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon final adoption and publication according to law.
