Precast Concrete Bollards

PART 3 - EXECUTION
3.1
EXAMINATION
A.
Examine paving or other substrates for compliance with manufacturer’s requirements for
placement and location of embedded items, condition of substrate, and other conditions affecting
installation of bollards.
B.
Proceed with installation only after unsatisfactory conditions have been corrected.
3.2
INSTALLATION
A.
General: Comply with manufacturer’s installation instructions and setting drawings.
B.
Damaged, cracked, chipped, deformed or marred bollards are not acceptable. Field touch-up
minor imperfections in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.

Precast Concrete Bollards: Install according to manufacturer's instructions.

Direct Imbed: Support bollard during concrete placement and cure.
CLEANING & PROTECTION
. Protect bollards against damage.
A.
Immediately prior to Substantial Completion, clean bollards in accordance with manufacturer’s
instructions to remove dust, dirt, adhesives, and other foreign materials.
B.
Touch up damaged finishes according to manufacturer’s instructions.
