EVENTS TOURNAMENT RULES AND CONDITIONS OF PLAY The continuous play format will be used for all singles events, which guarantees every player (win or lose) a similar amount of matches and a ranking at the completion of the tournament. All players in the 15/u & 17/u events may play singles and doubles or two singles. Girls wishing to play the boys singles in the 17/u age must also play the 17/u girls singles. *** Note:- All players in the 10/u Section will use the Tennis Australia approved green ball. All players will receive a participation certificate which will include their finishing position in both singles and doubles as well as a small prize. The tournament Committee at each event will endeavour to provide umpires in all 10/u matches. The tournament committee managing the tournament shall have the entire control of the tournament except for matters designated to the referee. 2. The tournament shall be conducted in accordance with the laws of the game as set down by Tennis Australia. 3. No entry fee shall be refunded unless the event is cancelled due to lack of entries or a player withdraws due to extenuating circumstances. 4. Used balls may be supplied for all round matches. New balls to be used for finals. 5. Lights will be used at the discretion of the committee. 6. All players in 10/u, 11/u & 13/u will automatically be entered in both singles and doubles (No exception all players must play doubles). All players in the 15/u & 17/u events may play singles and doubles or two singles. Girls wishing to play the boys singles in the 17/u age must also play the 17/u girls singles. 13/u players will not be permitted to play in the 17/u age group singles. 10/u Age Group will use new green ball. 7. Players must be of the relevant age as at December 31 2015. 8. In 17/U events with small nominations mixed singles may be played. 9. Players are reminded that all entries should be sent by Email, Phone, Fax or Post and must be in the hands of the Tournament organisers by the Monday evening preceding the event or your name may not be included in the draw. 10. In events with four or less entries, runner-up trophies may not be awarded. 11. Players will be forfeited if unavailable to play at the scheduled time. No exceptions will be made. All 17/U Boys, 13/u Boys & 15/u Girls players are required at 8.00am on the Saturday morning of every tournament. All other players are required to attend by 8.30am. At ITN Events all players are required by 8.00am unless other instructed. 12. Players (except 10/u age group) will be allocated points dependant on their progress through the draw (i.e.) Winner - 75, Runner-up - 50, 3rd - 40, 4th - 35, 5th - 30, 6th - 25, 7th - 20, 8th - 15, 9th - 10, 10th - 5. Where the committee has any doubts about the registration status of a player, that player shall be required to pay Tennis Queensland Registered Persons fee or be disqualified. / / N.B. Signed ....../......./....... dated Junior Masters points results are available on the CQ Tennis Web Site: www.tennis.com.au/central 2015 CIRCUIT PRIZES CENTRAL QUEENSLAND JUNIOR MASTERS CIRCUIT MAJOR PRIZE: All winners of the Finals and Circuit 11/u, 13/u, 15/u & 17/u will receive a voucher to the value of $200.00 only one prize per player. A bonus of $100 goes to the player who wins both the circuit and the finals. If the Circuit and the Final is won by the same player the 2nd placed player on points (2 x A+, 1A, 1B & 1C) will receive a $100 voucher. These vouchers are to be use for Tennis related activities. CQ CIRCUIT: The leading boy and girl on points at the conclusion of the circuit in the 17, 15, 13 & 11 age groups will represent the circuit in the “QLD JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT SERIES FINALS” to be played at Rockhampton on 17/18 October, 2015. A manager/coach will accompany the team. Players have to play the following events (in one age group) to qualify for the Major Prize; two A+, one A, one C and one B (ITN) Event. The player’s best results in each of these categories will be used to determine the winner. If players have equal points, then their “head to head” results will be used to determine the winner. Although it is compulsory to play (one) B (ITN) event to win the Major Circuit prizes, No points will be awarded in the these Events. CQ CIRCUIT FINAL: To qualify, players must play a minimum of four circuit tournaments, ITN Events are counted as Circuit tournaments. The boy and girl winners of the zone finals in age groups 17, 15, 13 and 11 will also represent the circuit at the “QLD JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT SERIES FINA”. If the winner of the finals is the same player as the winner of the circuit, the runner up of the circuit will represent the circuit at the “QLD JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT SERIES FINALS”. This award will be selected by CQ Junior Masters Committee. OCT 10/11 CQ FINALS Gladstone PLAYER OF MONTH: Six, monthly grants of $100 towards tennis related cost eg. Coaching, will be awarded to players during the circuit finals. This award is flexible in application in that it may be given for winning but may also be presented for reasons such as good sportsmanship, behaviour, improvement, etc. To be considered for player of month/year awards the player must have competed in a least five circuit tournaments. PLAYER OF YEAR: At the completion of the circuit, a player of the year grant of $500 towards tennis related cost, eg. Coaching, will be awarded in addition to the Gareth Wroe Memorial Cup. Qld Regional Junior Teams (Brisbane December) will be selected based on the position the players finished on the qualifying points in the CQ Junior Masters Circuit. ie the Best Results for 2x A=, 1 x A. 1 x C and B (ITN Event).
