CALCULATING YOUR GPA
1. Make a list of all courses taken (or all education courses if figuring your education GPA)
2. Next to each course, list the credit hours and grade for the course.
3. Next to each course grade, write a corresponding number (A=4, B=3, C=2, D=1)
4.
For each course, multiply the credit hours with the grade number. The resulting answers equals the
quality points for the course.
5. Add up the total credit hours for all courses.
6. Add up the quality point total for all courses.
7. Divide the quality points by the credit hours. The resulting answer is your overall GPA.
