Food Web Group Mini-Project
Objective: Create and analyze food webs for various biomes.
Requirements:
1. Creation of one food web for a given biome. Use the cards provided. You will submit a picture of
this food web.
o Use your phones to research what each organism eats. Use this information to create a food
web.
o Draw the arrows to show the flow of energy for your food web on your lab tables using the
chalk provided.
o Take a picture of your completed food web. You will send either print this picture out to
turn in with this worksheet or email the picture to me: bluancing@methacton.org
2. Answer the Identification & Analysis questions as a group.

Write the names of all organisms into the appropriate trophic level. For organisms who can
occupy more than one, simply choose a trophic level for it. Your choice must make sense for all of
the organisms that interact with it.
