2015-2016 Aksarben Section IFT Undergraduate Scholarship Application
About:
The IFT Aksarben Section is awarding two $500 scholarships to students pursuing an undergraduate degree in
food science, nutritional science, or related program. Please remember to verify your eligibility and review the
application requirements before submitting. Please email IFTAksarben@gmail.com if you have any questions.
Deadline:
Applications open on February 2, 2015.
Applications are due on March 9, 2015 via email to IFTAksarben@gmail.com.
Scholarship recipients will be announced at the UNL Student Recognition Ceremony- time and location TBA.
Eligibility:





Applicant must have at least a 3.0 major GPA
Applicant must be a Student Member of IFT and the IFT Aksarben Section at the time of application.
Applicant must be enrolled as a full-time sophomore, junior or senior (non-graduating) pursuing an
undergraduate degree in Food Science, Nutritional Science, or related program.
Applicant must plan to seek a career in the food industry or continue higher education in a food science
or related field.
Applicant must not have been previously awarded the Aksarben IFT Undergrad Scholarship.
