Naperville, IL—Little Friends was one of 25 not-for-profit organizations in
DuPage County to receive a grant from the 2012 Spring Discretionary
Grant Cycle of The DuPage Community Foundation based in Wheaton,
Illinois. The grant, awarded at a special distribution open house on
Wednesday, June 13 at Glen Oak Country Club, will help underwrite the
Little Friends Center for Autism and the evaluations that are performed
there.
Little Friends is located in Naperville, and serves children and adults with
autism and other developmental disabilities. The Little Friends Center for
Autism (LFCA) has earned a nationally recognized reputation for
excellence and provides cutting-edge comprehensive diagnostic
evaluations, occupational and speech therapy, consultation services to
parents and professionals, ABA, social skills groups, counseling, support
groups and educational materials. For further information regarding

Established in 1986, The DuPage Community Foundation is a publiclysupported 501 (c)(3) organization to which contributions are tax
deductible. It was created to benefit the people of DuPage County and
receives contributions and bequests into a permanent endowment from
individuals, corporations, organizations and foundations wishing to make
lasting contributions to the people of DuPage. The earnings on these
funds are then used, in accordance with donor wishes, for the
Foundation's grant making and community leadership activities.
