2013 Conference and Events Notice
1) Feb 23 (Saturday) evening- We are celebrating “Our Associations’ 21st anniversary & the Chinese New Year
with the presentation of Scholarship Awards” at Continental Seafood Restaurant in Richmond.
2) Mar 10 (Sunday) at 3:00 p.m. “Tax Talk” is held in the Clubhouse. Please come to join this informative tax
update.
3) March 23 (Saturday) starting at 9:30 a.m. – “The Ping Pong Match” is organized by the Association. There
will be the Men’s & the Women’s category. Please register to join before March 9.
4) April 7 (Sunday) at 11 a.m. “Spring Tribute” – We pay tribute to our ancestors at Ocean View’s Tung Koon
Memorial Cemetery in Commemoration of the Ching Ming Festival.
5) May 21 to 24, 4-days 3-nights Pacific Northwest Cruise. Please register earlier.
6) May 25 (Saturday) starting at 6:00 p.m. “The Parent’s Day Party” – is held in the Clubhouse to celebrate the
Mother’s day & Father’s day.
7) June 8 (Saturday) 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. – “Annual General Meeting” is held in the Clubhouse
8) In July -“ Karaoke Fun Night” at Chinatown - starting at 8:00 p.m.(Details will be announced).
9) July 20 (Saturday) starting at 9:00 a.m. – “2013 Mah Jong Champion Contest” is held in the Clubhouse.
Please register to join the contest in advance.
10) July 21 (Sunday) - join the event of “2013 Success Walk with the Dragon”
11) Aug 18 (Sunday) “One day trip” (Details will be announced)
12) Sept 14 (Saturday) “Mid-Autumn Festival Party” (Details will be announced)
13) Oct 6 (Sunday) at 11:00 a.m. “Autumn Tribute” – We pay tribute to our ancestors at Ocean View’s Tung
Koon Memorial Cemetery in commemoration of the Chung Yeung Festival.
14) October 8 Group Tour to Jiuzhaigou,China, and in early November, the Association will hold the “ 2013 Golf
Tournament” in Dongguan,
15) December 21 (Saturday) “Christmas Party” is held at Foo Sing Lau Seafood Restaurant, Richmond.
16) Every Friday from 7:30 – 11:00 p.m. “Karaoke (please bring your own disc), Mah Jong & Table Tennis” at the
Clubhouse – members & friends are welcome.
17) On selected Saturday 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. “Computer classes” are held in the Clubhouse. Members & friends
are welcome to participate. Please bring your own laptop computer and enrol in advance.
