Due: Thursday, 1/21 (end of the hour)
I. RESEARCH: Read the information about your assigned topic from the text and research and identify 2
additional sources of information. Record these sources in the booklet on the back page.
II. WRITE THE EVENT AS A FAIRY TALE. Use simple words and sentence constructions. Do not
leave important people or events out! You may choose to write the story from any perspective you want.
COVER PAGE: Title, Subtitle, Team Names and Hour, 1graphic
DEDICATION PAGE (on back of cover): 20 word maximum to audience you want to learn the lesson
from this story (no graphic necessary)
BODY PAGES: 6 pages, 40 word max/25 word min. on each page
3 graphics (spread out over 6 body pages)
MORAL OF THE STORY PAGE: 10 word minimum/30 word max telling why the story is important (no
graphic necessary)
SOURCES: (back cover): write down the name of the website and url (if online) or book you used for
additional information.
*You will be given folded booklet paper for this assignment. You may print out or use hand-draw
graphics for the book. You may also type out text blocks and glue them onto the pages, but neatly
printed text is just fine!
