Heroes of yesterday and today are legendary to us, we cannot forget about our
heroes, when reading about Spiderman we can also remember Gilgamesh at the same
time but throughout the similarities they also have some differences, Gilgamesh is the
king of Uruk which is called Iraq today, Gilgamesh father is Lugalbanda and his
mother is Ninsun, Gilgamesh is a king and a half god with a superhuman strength who
built the walls of the city Uruk and protected his people external threats, Spiderman is
Peter Parker, he gets his own powers from a bite of an irradiated spider.
When comparing Spiderman and Gilgamesh, there are a lot of common things
that they both share they have both have a good reputation, they both try to protect
their people and country. Since Spiderman and Gilgamesh have done a lot of great
accomplishment they both are incredibly famous for that. They also have a common
thing which is that they are both heroes weather we are talking about that past or our
modern days. They both fight and try to protect their people with all what they have,
this makes them brave and also because they protect their people at dangerous times.
They both are also amazingly strong, like Gilgamesh fought for his country and
people by going to war and winning Enkidu, he is also strong because he built the
walls of Uruk. Spiderman is strong because he got his powers from an irradiated
spider which gave him the powers to climb walls and left heavy things and fight evil
to protect and keep his own country people safe, and he is also strong because when
his grandfather died he became stronger and continued protecting his people and
nothing stopped him.
Throughout all the common things they have they also have a lot of differences for
instant, Gilgamesh is a great king that protected his country in bad times, and did not
listen to the gods orders when they told him that he wont find the life he is looking
for, and his is not fully a human being he is 2/3 of god and 1/3 a man he is vastly
superior to other men which makes him different than other men, but he is also 1/3 a
human which him an arrogant and reckless king. Gilgamesh was also wise and knew
everything like his mother Ninsun the goddess, he is also well educated because of his
great and amazing ideas he had.
Spiderman also have some difference which Gilgamesh doesn’t have like for instant
his powers that he got from a spider bite which gave him the ability to climb on walls
and spider webs string which made him travel fastly from one place to another.
Spiderman also had a secret Identity because if people know how he looks like they
might get him into problems and won't leave him alone in peace. Spiderman also has
his own costume which is made up of red and blue with a red spider at his back and a
black spider on his chest, and The boots are composed of a thin material that allows
Spider-Man's adhering ability to work through the soles of his feet, Spiderman is also
widely respected by all people in his neighborhood because he helps the poor people
when they need help and he is also respected for his great accomplishment that he
achieved for his country for keeping it safe and destroying every evil that threatens
the country. Spiderman is also loved by all the kids and people that live around him
and when he passes by, people in danger know that they are going to be safe and also
when Spiderman is fighting crimes and giving criminal to the police, people
appreciate what he does for them.
Wither we are in the past or in modern days super heroes, the similarities and
differences of Spiderman and Gilgamesh makes them unforgettable heroes. We will
always remember them for the great work they have done for us and for their
accomplishment as superheroes. Not all super heroes have the same characters and
not all have the same face or custom, it is not the custom that makes them amazing
and greatly epic, it is how they inspire us with their amazing powers or there great
ideas and thoughts.
