1.
Welcome and introduction:
JAPG welcomed the audience; he presented the participant members and points out the support of the SMIE to create the SEWC Mexico Group. He presented the following approved agenda: a) Welcome and introduction. b) Description of the SEWC. c) Creation of the SEWC Mexico Group. d) Proposal to organize the 6th. International Congress SEWC 2017 in Mexico. e) Designation of the Chairman of the SEWC Mexico Group. f) Other business. g) Adjournment.

SEWC:
JGOS starts a Power Point presentation describing the origin, objectives and aims of the SEWC, pointing out the 6 cofounders associations.

SEWC Mexico Group:
RGM explains the objectives of creating the SEWC Mexico Group, indicating it’s including character; in order to promote and to attract the structural engineering.
JGOS points out the aim to promote the collaborative work between architects and engineers for the welfare of the structural and architectural design of the Mexican and international society.

6th. International Congress SEWC 2017 Mexico:
JGOS explains the objectives of organizing this congress in Mexico, which official proposal should be presented before November 2013, after the creation of the
Mexican Group. Afterwards, he presented the previous SEWC congresses and colloquia, as well as the future events, finishing with the presentation of the brochure of the International Colloquium 2013, to be organized in New Delhi,
India, 18 – 20 November 2013. JAPG points out the support offered by the SMIE to organize the 6 th
. International Congress SEWC 2017 in Mexico.
5.
Chairman of the SEWC Grupo México:
JAPG and RGM proposed Juan Gerardo Oliva-Salinas as Chairman of the SEWC
Mexico Group for the next two years. JGOS was unanimously elected as Chair of the Mexican Group. JGOS accepts this distinction and points out his engagement to start all necessary procedures to formalize the SEWC Mexico Group and later on, to present the official proposal to organize the 6 th . International Congress SEWC 2017 in Mexico.
6.
Other business:

One member of the audience indicates the convenience of inviting other national institutions to join the SEWC Mexico Group. JAPG explains that the summons to create the SEWC Mexico Group was made to all national institutions looking for being included all Mexican Architects and
Engineers associations or institutions.

One member of the audience explains that she is coming from Quintana
Roo (a Mexican Federal State) and that she proposes Cancun City as venue of the International Congress SEWC 2017 Mexico; due to the infrastructure and several advantages of this resort city. JGOS explains that her proposal will be taken into consideration.


One member of the audience explains that he represents an enterprise for delivering engineering devices and that he celebrates the summons for the collaborative work between architects and engineers. He also offered to support the Mexico Group, with a first level international lecturer, if required.

One attendee explains that he is coming from Guadalajara (a Mexican
Federal State) representing his private Engineering Office and the Pan-
American University, and he offered his full support to the SEWC Mexico
Group.

Adjournment:
JAPG adjourned the meeting at 19:45 h.
