PetroClear® to Highlight Petroleum-Dispensing
Filters at Upcoming 2012 PEI Convention & NACS Show
Albion, IL, September 13, 2012 — PetroClear®, the industry’s leading brand of petroleumdispensing filters, is pleased to announce that it will be showcasing its extensive line of filtration
products at the upcoming PEI Convention & NACS Show in Booth 6320. The PEI Convention &
NACS Show, which annually brings together a wide variety of professionals from the
convenience and fuel retailing industry, will be held from Oct. 7-10 at the Las Vegas Convention
Center in Las Vegas, NV.
At the show, PetroClear will be highlighting its unique colorcoded fuel-dispenser filtration products. PetroClear filters
have been color-coded to assist customers with selecting the
correct filter for every application. The color-coding system is
as follows:
 Red – particulate removal in straight gasoline, diesel, biodiesel and ultra-low-sulfur diesel
 Blue – phase-separation detection (Alert) and particulate removal in ethanol-blended fuels
 Brown – water-sensing and particulate removal in straight gasoline, diesel, biodiesel and
ultra-low-sulfur diesel
 Green – a patented dual filter for phase-separation detection, water-sensing and particulate
removal in ethanol blends and straight gasoline.
The interior of the PetroClear fuel-dispenser filters is coated with an epoxy that provides
superior performance and helps to eliminate the potential of pinhole leaks. In addition, the
exterior color finish is applied through a powder-coating process that no only guarantees a
bright, durable finish, but also offers several environmentally friendly benefits. Powder coating
means that there will be no over-spray when the filters are painted and no solvent-based volatile
organic compounds (VOCs) will be released into the atmosphere during the coating process.
