{Heidelberg Catechism Lord’s Day 10}
Leader: What do you understand by the Providence of God?
People: The Almighty and Ever Present Power of God upholds
with His Hand Heaven and Earth and all creatures, all
things, in fact, come to us not by chance but by His
Fatherly Hand.
Leader: How does the knowledge of God’s Creation and
Providence help us?
People: We can be patient when things go against us, thankful
when things go well, and for the future we can have
good confidence in our faithful God and Father that
nothing in creation will separate us from His Love.
All:
Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
Good Friday Services will be on March 29, 2013 at 7:00 pm. All are

In the next few weeks, we will be introducing prayer requests cards
into the worship service and phasing out the open-sharing time. Pastor

We appreciate your support with these changes.

prayer for all of the leaders, volunteers, and children who will be
participating. If you would like to help out, please see Pastor Mike or

Kyrie eleison, Christe eleison” – “Lord, have mercy, Christ,
have mercy” – we pray these words of petition for all creation,
our world, ourselves, our community, the church worldwide,
and for those who cannot or will not pray. Together we say, “So
be it” (“Amen”), in agreement and thankful assurance that our
help is in the name of the Lord from whom this mercy comes.
*PRAYER OF INVOCATION
Our Father God, we pray earnestly and expectantly that You will
fill our hearts and this place with Your Presence. Teach us the way
of the cross. It is a difficult life, but we trust that it is the only true
life worthy of Your Mission. Teach us the Words of Jesus and
shape our lives by them. Teach us the Deeds of Jesus and form us
by them. We are eager and ready to hear the Gospel and praise
Your Holy Name. In the Name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
