Dress Rehearsal

Wednesday, May 13
3:00-4:00pm
Both grade 5 groups will be rehearsing on this day. A dress rehearsal is the last practice before
the concert; students do not come to this rehearsal in concert dress. Please make every effort
to attend this important rehearsal. Please note this rehearsal takes place on a Wednesday.
Arts Night / Spring Concert

Thursday, May 14
7:00 pm
I have collaborated with Mrs. Constant (art teacher) to combine the chorus concert with her art
show. You can view your child’s art work before or after the show. The concert begins at 7:00
p.m. Students need to be in the music room at 6:30 p.m. to warm up. Concert dress is
expected.

Ice Cream Party / Awards Day

Thursday, June 11
11:00-11:30am
All students that participated in chorus will be having an ice cream party.
Students will also be receiving certificates, pins or trophies. Due to the limited space in the
music room, I cannot allow parents or guests to attend.
Concert Dress
Women:
 NWES Chorus T-shirt
 Black skirt, shorts or pants (jeans are acceptable)
 Black shoes (sneakers are acceptable)
Men:
 NWES Chorus T-shirt
 Black pants or shorts (jeans are acceptable)
 Black shoes (sneakers are acceptable)
Concert dress is a requirement for all concerts; the students represent the school when they
perform. If there are any problems attaining the proper dress for chorus please let me know as
soon as possible. New chorus students will receive their T-shirts soon! If your student
participated in the Fall Session of chorus they already have a t-shirt.
