everything…how long would it be before a difference between
blue eyed short people and brown eyed taller people would
begin to develop. What would be the changes?
Would it be worth spending money educating brown eyed
people? If they weren’t educated what jobs could they get
etc?
What happens to society if people think like this? Why does
the government want community cohesion? What do they do
to encourage it? What are the churches doing?
(Make links between the central beliefs of each religion)
Discussion: Faith schools hinder, rather than help
community cohesion.
Discussion: Do you think Birmingham city council should
have referred to the Christmas season as Winterville in case
they upset the Muslim population?
Introduce the ideas of prejudice, discrimination, sexism,
equality.
