High Performance Liquid Chromatography
(HPLC) is a powerful analytical technique that
is applied in many fields of study in research
laboratories. This hands-on training workshop is
organised to provide a platform for postgraduate students and researchers in the
applications of HPLC for molecular diagnostics
and isolation of various compounds and
metabolites. At the end of the workshop,
participants will understand the theoretical
aspects of analysis by HPLC as well as gain
experience in techniques involved in the
preparation of samples and running conditions
of the HPLC with the appropriate columns,
solvents and detectors.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This workshop is suitable for post-graduate
students, clinicians and researchers from the
fields of biological and bio-medical sciences,
pharmacy,
biochemistry,
chemistry and
biotechnology.

The workshop will be held at the Laboratory of
Animal Production, Institute of Tropical
Agriculture (ITA), Universiti Putra Malaysia,
