Note on students getting jobs – all students under the age of 18 are required to obtain a work
permit after they are hired, but before they start working. Work permits cost $10.00. The student is
required to have a letter from the employer, showing that they have been hired, and a parent
signature somewhere on that letter, and their social security card. They should bring all these things
either to City Hall in Neenah, or to the main office at the high school to obtain the permit. There are
many job opportunities on the NHS jobs board outside the main office!
