Artificial Intelligent with Pattern Recognition in Robotics Application
Using pattern recognition to identify components in interest, then decide actions
using artificial intelligent. The identification and decision making system is bridged
with the robotics system to achieve autonomous robotics actions to fulfill various
applications

Offline Programming (OLP)
Using CAx software to generate sophisticated 3D Motion paths numerically, able to
achieve high precision on polishing, grinding, milling, continuous arc welding etc.
OLP also enables Quick Respond Manufacturing (QRM) since most preparation
works are done and evaluated on computer before operation, cost and time are
hence greatly reduced.

1. Intelligent vision guided assembly
Intelligent vision guided assembly robot is able to conduct assembly fully
automatically based on preset assembly sequence. No matter how workers place
the components, the robot can precisely position and orientate the components,
realizing human-robot interaction assembly. With the aid of computer vision
system, the robot can accurately distinguish and pick the target object by their
materials, shapes and colors. Operator can set assembly sequences through the
software, and monitor the entire assembly process.
2. High speed sorting of tool bit
The high speed sorting intelligent robot is a vision solution for a wide range of
industries. The robot adopts parallel mechanism which enhances motion
manipulation, especially in fast and repetitive motions. The vision system adopted
accurate matching technology which enables the robot to locate objects robustly
by recognizing the shapes and orientations of the defined tool bits. Through
optimized hardware and software setup, the robot can perform pick-and-place of
tool inserts in seconds.
3. 3D bra cup cutting
Bra cup’s profile data can be analyzed and converted into tool paths through
offline programming software, precision machining raise the quality and
repetitiveness of bra cup. The use of bra cup laser cutting can also avoid workers
suffering from tenosynovitis due to prolong usage of scissors.

3D watch case grinding & polishing
Industrial robot can utilize the product’s 3D data to analyze and plan the
polishing motion paths through offline programming software. Being integrated
with automatic loading and unloading mechanism, polishing on both sides features
and vision guided real time inspection, the watch case’s contour and finishing can
be consistent with the design requirements.
The above case studies demonstrate the intelligent operation from product design,
production planning, customization and rapid automatic machining to sorting and
distribution processes. It serves as a basis for the future development of intelligent
manufacturing and support different industries to implement “Made in China
2025” and “Industry 4.0”.
