HIGHLIGHTS OF HOSTING A TOUR

“Are you suffering much? Do not lose hope.

My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the way that will lead you to God.”

ABOUT THE NATIONAL PILGRIM VIRGIN STATUE OF OUR LADY OF FATIMA

The National Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima is a beautiful hand-carved image of Our Lady of Fatima given to the

United States by the bishop of Fatima after being blessed by

Pope Paul VI in 1967. She was crowned by Cardinal O’Boyle at the National Basilica in Washington, DC in 1971.

This statue presently travels across the United States under the sponsorship of the WAF USA. She has proven time and again to be the catalyst for renewed interest in the message of Fatima and for exposing new generations of Catholics who are unaware of the important message of conversion and peace brought by Our

Lady to the three shepherd children in 1917 at Fatima, Portugal.

The purpose of our statue tours is to bring the graces of

Fatima and Our Lady’s message of hope, peace and salvation to those many thousands of people who may never have an opportunity to make a pilgrimage to Fatima itself.

WHY HOST A STATUE VISIT

 This is not just another nice devotion. World War II could have been avoided if humanity would have responded to Our Lady’s requests (stated in the July 13, 1917 apparition).

 Peace in our families, our country and our world will not be possible through political agreements or military intervention. Peace will come only through conversion of sinners and the rejection of sin.

 You will be an instrument of peace by helping promote God’s plan for peace in our world today by providing a venue where souls can come to learn how to respond to Our Lady’s requests for prayer, penance and making reparation for the conversion of sinners.

 “Prayer is more powerful than the atom bomb,” is a quote by Fr. Hubert Schiffer, S.J. – a miraculous survivor of the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima, Japan in 1945. He goes on to say “We believe that we survived because we were living the message of Fatima.”

 Your parish will receive many blessings and special protection from Our Lady of Fatima.

CONSECRATION TO THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY
