FACILITY
Indoor, 25 yard, 6 lane pool. Depth ranges from 5 feet at starting end to 3.5 feet
at turn end. Pool deck open to swimmers, coaches, and officials only. Ample
spectator viewing available in pool side bleachers. NO WET SWIMMERS IN
STANDS FOR SAFETY OF SPECTATORS AND SWIMMERS. The
competition course has not been certified in accordance with 104.2.2C(4).
ELIGIBILITY
Swimmers must be currently registered with USA Swimming. NO ON DECK
REGISTRATION SHALL BE PERMITTED. Swimmers must be within the
listed age brackets as of December 6th, 2014.
MEET FORMAT
This will be run as a split format meet. Every effort will be made in advance to
keep the meet within the 4 hour rule for all 12 & under events. In order to
conserve time, like distance events may be combined in the heat sheet. Scoring
would remain by entry event number.
ENTRY LIMIT
Swimmers may enter a maximum of 4 individual events and 1 relay per day in 12
& U sessions, 4 individual events and 2 relays in 13 & O sessions. Entries will be
limited to 250 eligible swimmers per session. Host reserves right to limit
entries in events 105/106, 12&U 500 Free, to those fastest heats which still
allow us to meet the 4 hour time limit, if necessary. Refused entries will be
given an option to enter another event.
Entries must be received by 5:00pm, November 28th 2014. Please submit entries
in Hy-Tek compatible file.
ENTRY DEADLINE
ENTRIES
1-Submit yard times only for seeding. NT's are acceptable.
2-Email entries are acceptable in Hy-Tek compatible format. When emailing
entries, entry will not be considered complete until hard copy and entry fees are
received.
3-Any swimmer entered in the meet must be certified by a USA Swimming
member coach as being proficient in performing racing starts or must start each
race from within the water. When unaccompanied by a member-coach, it is the
responsibility of the swimmer of the swimmer's legal guardian to ensure
compliance with this requirement.
4-With submission of entries, the coach/team representative attests that all
swimmers entered are registered with USA Swimming
ENTRY FEE
Entry fees must accompany mailed entry forms.
$3.00 Oregon Swimming surcharge per swimmer
$2.00 individual event fee.
$8.00 Relay entry fee.
$8.00 Pool Use Fee

SEEDING
Pre-seeding will be used for all events except those individual events of 400
yards or more. These events will be seeded once entrants have checked in. All
events are timed finals.
CHECK-IN
Coaches have the responsibility to provide a POSITIVE check in 30 minutes
prior to meet start time for events #'s 71, 105/106, 107/108, 109/110, 135/136,
137/138.
BULL PEN
A bull pen will be provided for all 8 & U events. To help meet flow smoothly all
swimmers will be asked to approach the starting blocks through that staging area
and exit in front of the spectator bleachers.
AWARDS
Individual 1st-6th place ribbons
Relays: 1st-6th place ribbons
Heat winner awards will be given.
RESTRICTIONS
1-TOBACCO PRODUCTS OF ANY KIND,ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE
ALLOWED IN THE SWIMMING VENUE OR ON THE HIGH SCHOOL
GROUNDS. GLASS CONTAINERS OR PRODUCTS ARE NOT IN THE
SWIMMING VENUE. SHAVING IS NOT PERMITTED IN THE
SWIMMING VENUE.
2-Use of audio or visual recording devices, including a cell phone, is not
permitted in changing areas, rest rooms or locker rooms.
3-Except where venue facilities require otherwise, changing into or out of
swimsuits other than in locker rooms or other designated areas is prohibited.
RULES
Current USA Swimming and Oregon Swimming, Inc. rules will govern.
SAFETY
Current Oregon Swimming Safety Guidelines and Warm-ups Procedures will be
in effect and strictly enforced. See enclosure.
CONCESSIONS
Fully stocked concessions stand available on Saturday & Sunday.

TIMERS
Each team will be given timing assignments. Please designate a parent
representative to report to the Head Timer 30 minutes prior to the start of the
meet. Swimmers in the 500yd & 1650yd freestyles must provide for
themselves one timer and a lap counter.
OFFICIALS
We need and appreciate the help of certified officials from other clubs. Please
include a list of officials who will be attending with your club entry forms. An
excellent official's hospitality room will be provided.
