Distinction between Reality and Appearances
Under what conditions do you assume that the appearances of life are actual and realistic? What
makes something true? Questioning the natural appearances to the naked eye and the reality of everything
being observed is a situation of endless challenge. Taking on such a situation leads me to question almost
every aspect and detail within its framework. When trying to determine the better test of reality an
individual must take into account the evidence of your senses and also the notations of the best informed
professionals. Input from both of these factors is still not enough to evaluate the exact of reality because
the opinions of experts can easily contradict the evidence from your own natural senses.
So how do human beings determine distinction of reality and appearance? Actually, it is quite
simple, as human beings we naturally except the legist of situations based upon sensual experiences. In
other words people only know what they have vividly experienced through their senses and formulate
those experiences into interpretation in the brain. How and what people interpret in their minds can
completely different based upon their reaction to that reality. For instance, a person has been told all of
his or her life that pigs don’t fly, but one day that person sees a pig fly. Therefore, the reality of that
individual has been altered because the norm no longer exists for him of her and now that person is led to
question the actual of reality. In essence the difference in individuality is part of the reason why there are
so many dissimilar ideas of reality.
As well as the stride of individuality the desire for reason to develop common compromise is also
part of the endless challenge. In hope to find rational reason human beings try to simplify and formulate
understandable methods of reality. In doing so, we create ideas of life, existence, and many other factors
of honest perception. People create conducts of morality for social structure or stability so it can lead all
the way to the top of one universal idea of honest truth. So, are honesty and truth valuable because they
are good for society, or do they have intrinsic value?
For example, Christians believe that there is one God and the Jesus of Nazareth is their savior
who will grant any individual access to heaven if he or she accepts him as such. In Christian society the
bible is used as the conduct code and livelihood manual for living the Christian life. Everything is
supposed to be based upon a personal relationship with God and that true Christians are to let God’s
unconditional love life through their soul. If a Christian can abide by the preaching of the bible and
surrender to God’s will then his or her soul will be at rest with God. So with that being understood an
individual who decides to live the Christian lifestyle is going to reference everything that imposes on
reality and tie in the experiences of his or her life with the Bible says accordance to how God sheds that
person love.
Now is it factual to say that the Christian Lifestyle is the reality of existence? Undeniably the
Christian Lifestyle is not completely accurate to theorize because everything is based off past sensual
encounter and testimonies of people who no longer exist. There has never been any recorded evidence of
an actual heaven more so the visual or physical view of God. Everything within the Christian religion is
based upon faith and actual belief in something that no one has ever seen.
As human beings we have to share a common experience and relate to each other on that
experience in order for us to believe in a similar idea. In truth we do not know the honest perception and
appearance away it boils down to what an individual has created in his or her mind of reality.
