Lake Land College Foundation Scholarship- All
students attending LLC are encouraged to apply.
Students are required to fill out one application to be
considered for 300 plus scholarships. Apply online

Martin Luther Scholarship- The Beta Sigma Psi
National Fraternity is offering a scholarship to
Lutheran men who will be starting college in fall
2016. In order to be awarded this $2,000
scholarship, you must be a confirmed member of a
Lutheran congregation and you must be planning to
attend your first year at any accredited 4-year
College or University.
Christian Leadership Award- The Beta Sigma Psi
National Fraternity is offering a scholarship to
Lutheran men who will be starting college in fall
2016. In order to be awarded this $1,500
scholarship, you must be a confirmed member of a
Lutheran congregation and you must be planning to
attend University of Illinois, Indiana University, or
Purdue University.
Mediacom World Class Scholarship- Mediacom
is offering several $1,000 non-renewable
scholarships through its World Class Scholarship
Program to senior high school students. This will be
awarded to students with high academic
achievement, leadership abilities,
school/community involvement, and teacher

Illinois PTA Scholarship- The Illinois PTA will be
providing scholarships to two high school seniors
graduating from an Illinois Public school. The first
place student will be awarded $3,000 and the
second place student will be awarded $2,000

National Honor Society Scholarship- Any student
who is a member of the National Honor Society at
CHS may apply. If you are going to submit an
application please talk to Mrs. Taylor.
Trojan Booster Club- Merv Baker Athletic
Achievement Award- For all CHS athletes. $500
awarded to 1 female and $500 to 1 male athlete.
Must have participated in at least 1 sport for 4 years
and maintained a 3.0 GPA or better.
S.L. Nanda Mathematics & Science ScholarshipEligible CHS students must have been accepted at
and plan to attend EIU and majoring in Biological
Sciences, Physics, Mathematics & Computer
Science, Chemistry, Geology-Geography, and any
of the fore-mentioned majors with teacher
certification.
Buick Achievers Scholarship- Available to all
students who plan to major in a specific course of
study focused on engineering, technology or
design, with an interest in the automotive industry.
Farm Credit Agriculture Scholarship- Twentyfour $1,500 scholarships are available to high
school seniors who plan to enroll in an agriculturebased college curriculum next fall.
National Defense Transportation Association
Scholarship- All students may apply but
preference will be given to students pursuing a
degree in Business, Transportation Logistics and

Scholarship. This scholarship awards ten to fifteen
students $1,000 grants annually. This scholarship
will be awarded to students based upon need,

Michael Hindman Teacher Education
Scholarship- If you are planning to pursue a career
in education please apply for the Michael Hindman
Teacher Education Scholarship. This $1,000
scholarship will be awarded to students to have
demonstrated success in their school career and
who have been accepted into a college.

Illinois AMVETS Service Foundation
Scholarship- This scholarship awards a student
with a $1,000 non- renewable one- year
scholarship. To be eligible for this scholarship the
applicant must be an Illinois High School Senior
and have taken the ACT or SAT.
Illinois AMVETS Sad Sacks Nursing
Scholarship- This scholarship awards a student
with a one- year scholarship. To be eligible for the
scholarship the applicant must be an Illinois High
School senior who has been accepted into a preapproved nursing program and must prove
satisfactory in academic record, character, interest,
and activity record, and financial need.
Illinois AMVETS Trade School Scholarship- This
scholarship awards a student with a $1,000 nonrenewable one- year scholarship. To be eligible for
the scholarship the applicant must be an Illinois
High School senior who has been accepted into a
pre-approved trade school program.

Scholarship- This scholarship awards a student

with a one- year scholarship. To be eligible for the
scholarship the applicant must be an Illinois High
School senior and be a child of a deceased mother
or father who was a Veteran of the United States of
America who served after September 15, 1940 and
was Honorably Discharged. They need not be killed
in action or died as a result of a service- connected
disability. The applicant must also have taken the
ACT or SAT.
Illinois AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary Memorial
Scholarship- This scholarship awards a student
with a one- year scholarship. To be eligible for the
scholarship the applicant must be an Illinois High
School senior, be a child or grandchild of a Veteran
of the United States of America who served after
September 15, 1940 and was Honorably
Discharged or who is presently serving in the
military, and must have taken the ACT or SAT.
South Central FS Scholarship- For any high
school senior that is pursuing a 2 or 4 year degree
in agronomy or related crop production, or closely

Coles County Soil and Water Conservation
Foundation Scholarship- The Foundation is
offering 3, $500 scholarships to students pursuing
an education in a conservation related field.
State Farm Good Neighbor Scholarship
Program- Must be a high school senior, planning to
enroll full-time next fall, have a GPA 2.5 to 3.20 on
a 4.0 scale, and demonstrate financial need.
Illinois Lumber & Material Dealers Educational
Foundation- For any student that plans to pursue a
degree in lumber and building materials or an allied
field.

Young Artist Scholarship Competition- This
competition is open to any Central Illinois area high
school senior who will graduate in the Spring of
2016 and will enroll in college to continue musical
studies.
Sarah Bush Lincoln Guild Scholarship ProgramAny person accepted into or currently enrolled fulltime in a hospital-related health care professional
curriculum is eligible. A 4.5 GPA out of 5 points is
desirable. Please see application for more details.
Student-View Scholarship Program- Simply log
on to www.student-view.com and complete a 15-20
minute application survey about colleges in your
area. The scholarship will be awarded via a
random drawing of all completed applications.
First Neighbor Bank Scholarship- This $500
scholarship is available to any senior planning to
attend college in the fall 2016. Preference will be
given to applicants who are less financially able to
obtain a higher education and may not be receiving
other scholarships or grants.
"Aspiring Fashion Professional" ScholarshipIf you are interested in pursuing a fashion degree
please apply for the "Aspiring Fashion Professional"
Scholarship. This scholarship is a one-year-nonrenewable scholarship that awards high school
seniors $1000. Selection is based off of academic
performance and the student’s application essay.

"Aspiring Animation Professional" Scholarship
Program- If you are a high school senior interested
