Blake Mollett (Lauderdale 4-H member and Clarkdale FFA Student) attended 4-H
Club Congress at Mississippi State University this summer. While attending Blake
competed and placed first in the Agricultural Engineering/Welding Event. Blake
not only designed and completed a welding project; he also conducted a
presentation, took a knowledge test, and preformed multiple welding
procedures on site. Blake is being sponsored by Henderson Steel while
preparing for the National 4-H Engineering Challenge Event. Blake will be
representing the State of Mississippi on September 24th and 25th at the
University of Purdue in West Lafayette, IN.
