RNSG 2130 Course Instruction
1. Access HESI results (see RNSG 2130 course site)-*available within 2-3 days of exam
2. Print Specialty Area Results & Review Materials (see example below)
3. Write at the top of the page (1) your NAME, (2) total score, (3) and predictability
(%) for NCLEX success.
4. For each area on the Specialty page below 850, write in the blank column (next to
HESI score) your Remediation plan- be specific.
a. HESI Remediation Suggested Activity
b. Relevant Case Studies from Evolve or other sites and/or NCLEX review
questions from NCLEX book
5. Submit Remediation plan to clinical instructor at date specified; to include:
a. Completed Remediation plan- utilizing original form; draw a line through
completed activities
b. Evolve case studies850-899

6. If score below 850- take second HESI (reminder- pay for HESI again)
Steps to get to Evolve Remediation:
Log in to Evolve.
Select "Reach Testing and Remediation" tab (left side of page)
Select "My exams and remediation"
A list of all your Hesi exams will be displayed.....select one.
THEN: view "Results Report" which gives a detailed summary of your results; then PRINT
"Specialty Area Results and Review Materials" (see sample page below)
In the upper right hand corner it will display a tab called "My Study Packet" with a number
beside it which indicates the number of items you have selected to review. To build the
packet: click on one of the hyperlinks under the "Subspecialty" heading.....Evolve directs
you to several resources to review. You can then select any resource that you would like to
add to your "Study Packet".
