JOB SUMMARY
Advratech is looking for a Business Intelligence Developer whose responsibilities will be to analyze, design, develop, and support initiatives to deliver end-user Dashboards and reporting capabilities as well as advanced reporting development and data analysis. The candidate should be a technical individual who is a self-starter, have strong communication skills, and possess the ability to architect sophisticated solutions from requirement gathering to implementation and deployment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
 Design and implementation of SAP Business Objects Universes, Reports, Dashboards with Dashboard

Designer or SAP Design Studio
Modeling and building universes based on business requirements, best practices and standards; creation of functional and technical design specifications
 Analysis, design, test and development of reporting artifacts, logical data models, ad-hoc and


 analytic query environments
Creating variables in the Webi reports
Creating sub reports and linking them with master reports
Testing of reports against universes and database connections and validating the report data against the database
 User interface design and development
 Report & SQL development and tuning
 Creating and consuming web services utilizing QAAWS and BIWS
 Management of logical data model
 Administer security and content management of business intelligence portal




QUALIFICATIONS
 BS degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
 7+ years IT experience
 5+ years direct experience using Business Intelligence software solutions: designing, developing, and documenting end user reporting applications
 Knowledge of logical data modeling, report development, ad-hoc query design, dashboard, event management and tools within the vendor’s BI suite
Experience with at least 2 database architectures (such as Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server)
Must be an analytical thinker who can translate business requirements for information / data content needs into logical data models, and reporting deliverables
Strong general SQL knowledge for utilization in query optimization and tuning in a BI environment
Must have good technical and problem solving abilities along with good communication and documentation skills
DESIRED SKILLS
 Ability to work independently, mentor and perform as a team player with limited to no supervision and effectively meet project deadlines
 Knowledge of Google Charts development is a plus
 Knowledge of custom HTML and JavaScript development is a plus
