I didn’t know how to grade this but Ms. Vang did! She’s a genius! Welcome to the world of Boom Boom! Cards! This is going to fun! Here’s the deal: You are going to be assigned two Boom Boom! Cards. Follow the directions on the card. You will be graded on your online essays that you write about your experience. When you are done with your assigned cards pass them to another WEB student. You will need to do 9 Boom Boom! Cards and write about them online by the end of the trimester (about one random act of kindness a week). Hey, Mr. Sheridan, how long does each assignment have to be? Each essay must be at least 300 quality words. This is about ¾ of typed page. Note: I know the difference between good writing and just using a lot of words to take up space. Hey, Mr. Sheridan, how will I know if it is 300 words or not? Type your responses in Microsoft Word first and use the “word count” tool under the “Tools” menu. When you are done, save it! Then copy and paste it onto the website. Hey, Mr. Sheridan, how do I post this online? 1. Go to http://www.boomboomcards.com 2. Click on “Log in.” 3. Your user name is……… bcms web class 4. You password is………… panther1 5. Click on “Register a card or Deck” 6. Type the code from the card. 7. Once you have registered the card, find the card in the Pending Cards. Click on your card and write your story! You can even upload a picture or video if you want to get super cool! 8.
