Quality standards expected within task
This is a brief guide that has been designed to assist teachers in supporting students at the
Student Conference.
Students will be asked to produce work of a high quality that can be used back at school. To
ensure that all students are aware of what is meant by good quality, the following tables/grids are
there to assist you in ensuring that students clearly understand what they need to do and the level
required.
We have not produced a table for every task, but hope that you can apply the information
contained within this document to support any of the tasks the students undertake. Your role as
teacher/facilitator is to enable students to describe what makes a good task. (The examples that
follow are here to help you when helping the students, please adapt as you wish). We hope you
find them useful.
Thank you.
