Welcome to the Loudoun County Public School's Teachers-in-Training Program!
Prior to beginning your fieldwork, you must submit the online Teacher in Training/Student Teacher
application located at: https://apply.lcps.org/appentry/?50972510152846Nav=|&NodeID=2197
With this application, you will receive a "PID" number (top left corner of the application), which you will
need to bring to your orientation session. If you have completed an application with us before, please
sign in with the user id and password you created on your prior application. If you don't remember your
user id and password, you should have an email from us with this information on your email account. If
you have already completed the Student Teacher application, please proceed to the next step, scheduling
your orientation session.
All sessions are held at the LCPS Administration Building at 21000 Education Court, Ashburn, VA 20148.
During your session, you will:
 complete your Teacher-in-Training paperwork (you will need to provide the addresses of current
and previous residences for the past 10 years)

watch a safety video

bring a current TB test, or if needed, meet with our nurse for a TB screening
Please contact the Personnel Secretary at TNT@lcps.org to schedule this mandatory session.
You may not begin your work with LCPS until both the application and orientation session are
completed, and all paperwork is processed and cleared. Even if you have completed similar
requirements for your university, current position, or with another school district, you still need to
attend a Loudoun County Public Schools orientation session. You may, however, furnish proof of a
negative TB screen/test from within the past 12 months to skip our TB requirement.
NOTE: If you are a current LCPS employee (Classified Staff or Substitute) or completed an orientation
session within the last 12 months, please contact us with your PID. You may be exempt from this
requirement and eligible to begin your fieldwork immediately upon confirmation with your cooperating
school.
Please feel free to contact Kissha Burke, at TNT@lcps.org or 571-252-1824 with any questions or
concerns.
