Quiz Re-Takes: LCM & GCF
To earn the right to re-take your quiz, you must prove that you have reviewed the concepts and have a better
grasp on how to find the LCM, GCF, and prime factorization of a number. You will show your knowledge by
completing a challenge on Khan Academy that deals with LCM & GCF.
Here’s what to do:
1. Sign up at khanacademy.org (or log in if you already have an account).
2. Visit khanacademy.org/coaches (the “Coaches” tab in your profile).
3. In the “Add a coach” field, enter the class code.

4. From here, either type into the search box “LCM & GCF word problems” or copy and paste the
following website into your browser: https://www.khanacademy.org/math/cc-sixth-grade-math/cc-6thfactors-and-multiples/cc-6th-gcf/v/greatest-common-divisor-factor-exercise
5. Once you have completed the LCM & GCF word problems, copy and paste the following website into
your browser to get to the prime factorization practice :https://www.khanacademy.org/math/prealgebra/factors-multiples/prime_factorization/v/prime-factorization
6. Watch the videos as you deem necessary, then complete the practice problems.
7. Once you are able to get five questions in a row correct, let your teacher know. Once they confirm your
questions have been completed correctly, they will give you your quiz to re-take!
