Daily Student Announcements
GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:
The weight room will be open, but the cardio room will be closed today after school.
Any students interested in helping out with Prom 2016, please plan to attend a short meeting
on Thursday, January 21 after school in room 200. We need to discuss our theme and some other
important business like nametags and decorating ideas!!! Please plan to attend! If you have any
questions, please contact Mrs. Hoff or Ms. Israel prior to that date.
There will be a 5th Quarter pajama party on Friday, January 22nd directly after the basketball
game from 8:00 pm – 11:30 pm. There will be free food and prizes!
NHS ECO Club presents - Trivia Night - Thursday February 11th. Get your team together
a.s.a.p. There will be a limited number of teams. If you have any questions you can email the Eco

Summer Driver's Education information is now available in the Armstrong and Attendance offices.

TED Talk Tuesdays: Be inspired, motivated or just impressed by what goes on in the world around
us! Come to the Career Center any mod on Tuesday during your Release or Tutorial hours only
(attendance will be taken). 2 minutes to 20 minutes, a different topic every week!
From Suburban Athletics: It’s time to sign up for softball for summer 2016! Now accepting

The Neenah Parks and Recreation Department is currently accepting applications for summer 2016
part-time employment. The deadline is Friday, February 5, 2016. Applications are at

MONDAY:
Forensics meets today.
The Debate Team will meet in the Library every Monday from 6pm-8pm. (Scotty Thurwachter)
**Knitting Club meets Mondays from 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm in room 322. RESCHEDULED for this

The Urban Farm Club will meet on Mondays in room 404. (Mrs. Dorschner or Mrs. Rogers)
The AFS Club meets on Monday after school in room 164B from 3:25-3:45. (Mrs. Counter)
Anime Club meets on Mondays in room 200 after school. (Mrs. Hoff)
The Mindfulness club meets in room 519 on Monday at 7:15 am. We go through about 15
minutes of relaxing mindfulness in the hope of creating a positive start to the week!

SEA Club will be meeting on Tuesday mornings at 7:20 am in room 164B. (Mrs. Counter)
Student Council meets on Tuesday, at 7:15 am in the Conant Little Theater. (Mr. Laluzerne)
Art Club meets every Tuesday at 3:20 pm in room 420. (Mrs. Mullard)

Gaming Club - Meets selected Saturdays to game. The next Gaming Day will be on Sat. Jan.

CONGRATULATIONS:
On Saturday, January 9th the Neenah High School Powerlifting team competed in a
Powerlifting invitational. The Neenah Girls captured top team honors and the Varsity & JV
Boys were second. Capturing individual titles within their weight class and Division were: Delaney
Ortiz, Taylor Wyngaard, Dallas Cavegn, Karley Wyngaard, Jayson Schraufnagel, Nick Johnson,
Brandon Patschke & Mitchell Pamperin.
BOYS BASKETBALL - Neenah remained in first place in the FVA and extended its winning streak to
four games
GIRLS BASKETBALL - The Rockets picked up two road victories last week to remain one game out
of first place in the FVA standings.
BOYS SWIMMING AND DIVING – Are 4 -0 and remain undefeated in FVA duals.
