the Drysdale family of New Brunswick.
William Drysdalle was from England. <<according to family tradition, he
was engaged in british fisheries, left England, resided in P.E.I.,
first
settled at Nelson, N.B. and later removed to the Miramichi "at
Newcastle". he was married to Mary, her family name unknown>>. i have
not been able to prove all of this tradition. William died about 1792.
Mary, William Drysdalle's widow, married John (Chadwick) Shaddock, a
Maryland Loyalist. she died at her daughter's Mary, (mrs. John
McCallum), in Tabusintac.
